Van Dyke Bowl will be hosting a fundraiser for the Kulin Family on July 16, 2010. Check in is at 6:30pm and bowling will start at approximately 7:00pm. Cost is only $20.00 per person which will include three games of bowling and two slices of pizza. During the last few months, Ken (father) and Kaitlyn (daughter) were hospitalized with serious illesses. Since their hospitalizations, the family has accrued mounting medical bills. The Kulin family are great friends and loyal customers of Van Dyke Bowl and we can not stand by and do nothing. We invite you to come to Van Dyke Bowl and join us in an effort to raise money and help alleviate a burden that this family is presently facing. There will be bowling, pizza, raffles, prizes, and a lot of fun. Don't miss out on a chance to help a great family.

With the main league season coming to a finish, we have decided to retire the old website. With the new season comes a new face for Van Dyke Bowl. On May 3, 2010, the newer, more interactive, more user friendly website hit the internet. Sporting new colors, downloadable flyers, and a daily newsfeed, this new website is sure to aid our customers in their general needs. Starting today, May 3, 2010, Van Dyke Bowl has put into effect its summer hours. We open at a new time each day of the week. However, make sure to keep in mind that the goal of Van Dyke Bowl is to be open when it is convenient for you. We do the best that we can to accommodate you for your bowling needs. If we are unable to accommodate you, our partner center, Shelby Lanes, will be more than capable of scheduling your event. All of our hours are subject to change. If you are looking for open bowling, we strongly advise you to call ahead to make sure that we will have lanes available. If you are looking to book an event and our hours of operation conflict with the times that you need for your even, contact us because we may be able to alter our hours of business to meet with your needs. Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in the first ever “Kids Bowl Free” program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the particpating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations. In order to participate, just follow three easy steps. First, go to http://www.kidsbowlfree.com/sterlingheights to register each child. It's that time of the year again! The snow has stopped and the summer fun is just around the corner. Van Dyke Bowl has decided to drop our prices for the entire summer season. Starting today, games and shoes are both only $2.00. This summer pricing is available all day, every day, until the fall season hits. Van Dyke Bowl is home to many different specials, however, there is one particular special that always seems to hit it off big. It's our Thirsty Thursdays special. Starting at 8:00pm every Thursday night, Van Dyke Bowl offers $1.25 games and $1.25 shoes until 11:00pm. How could this get any better you ask? How about if we throw in $1.25 drink specials?
